What's the difference between the 3 widgets?

About Me — a creator bio with avatar, name, role, and about text. The "who I am" widget.
Announcement — a colored banner with title, body, and emoji icon for sales and promos. The "look here now" widget.
FAQ — an expandable Q&A accordion with up to 20 questions. The "answers before you ask" widget.
Each widget stores different data — content doesn't transfer if you switch widgets on the same block.

Is text block really free?

Yes. All three widgets, rich-text formatting, color themes, accordion modes, and unlimited text blocks per store are on the free plan with no watermark and no trial expiry. See pricing.

Can I have multiple text blocks on one store?

Yes — unlimited. Typical setup: About Me at the top, Announcement banner above products, FAQ below. Each block is independent — different widget, different content, different position.

What rich-text formatting is supported?

Bold, italic, and clickable links. Available in every text field across all 3 widgets — About text, Announcement body, FAQ answers. No HTML knowledge required.

How does "Allow multiple open" work in FAQ?

Default is OFF — single-open accordion (Apple-style). When a visitor opens Question 2, Question 1 collapses. Keeps focus on one answer at a time. Switch ON for multi-open — visitors expand all questions they want. Better for policy lists visitors need to scan.

Can I customize the announcement banner colors?

Pick from 5 pre-designed themes — yellow (urgent/sale), blue (info), green (success/free shipping), pink (special), lilac (premium). Text, background, and border are tuned for WCAG AA contrast in each theme. Custom hex colors aren't supported yet.

Photo vs initials for About Me — which builds more trust?

A photo builds more personal connection. But initials work well when you don't have a polished photo yet, want a clean minimal style, or run a faceless brand. You can also toggle "Show photo" off entirely for a text-only bio.

Are there character limits on the fields?

Yes, and they're intentional. About text 500 chars = 2–3 strong sentences (vague essays don't convert). Announcement title 60 + body 500 = a scannable banner. FAQ answer 1000 chars = enough for nuanced answers without becoming a wall of text.

When should I use text block FAQ vs Testimonials?

Text block FAQ = your questions answered (refund policy, how-to, what's-included). You write both Q and A.
Testimonials = buyers' words about you (real reviews with stars, photos, names). Different jobs — use both.
